The 2025 Relax Week is a Korean-style mental wellness festival that offers 'healthy self-ness' to modern people who are tired both physically and mentally. Experts in meditation, mindfulness, and mental health will be present, and you can enjoy the event both online and offline, anywhere in the country. There will be various spaces for meditation, counseling, vegetarian cafes, restaurants, and healing spots across over 400 relaxation locations nationwide, divided into 7 themes. At the Hwadam Forest Spring Daffodil Festival, you can enjoy over 100,000 daffodils in an eco-friendly, ecological space that preserves the forest’s natural vegetation. Hwadam Forest is an arboretum operated by the LG Evergreen Foundation, serving as both a field research and observation facility with a focus on ecosystem restoration. Many visitors come to enjoy the seasonal beauty of the flowers and autumn foliage, which change throughout the year. The forest is designed to be accessible for strollers and wheelchairs, ensuring that everyone who loves nature can visit comfortably. Highlights include the bonsai garden, featuring 250 famous bonsai, and the birch forest, where over 1,000 birch trees and vibrant daffodils come together—both must-see attractions. Additionally, Hwadamchae, the reception space and cultural hub of Hwadam Forest, hosts exhibitions that blend nature and art. Busking All Around Seoul is an exciting street performance festival held at 50 locations across Seoul! Running from April to November, this festival lets you enjoy street art performances all year long, wherever you go. The performance troupe consists of 150 amateur artists selected through open auditions. You'll find teams from various genres, including traditional Korean music ensembles, K-pop bands, Latin musicians, magicians, classical ensembles, and handpan players. With performances spread throughout the city, you can experience them in various spots. Enjoy unique performances at popular locations like Gwanghwamun Square, Dongdaemun, Yeouido Park, and Cheonggyecheon. Add some special moments to your day with these lively events in everyday places!

Experience Korean fermentation culture and traditional sauces like gochujang, soy sauce, and doenjang at Jangnal, the Day of Making Jang in Sunchang! This festival, centered around Korea’s jang-making culture, takes place in Sunchang's traditional gochujang folk village, well-known for its gochujang. The festival not only offers a variety of events related to jang but also aims to preserve the culture of jang-making. Here, you can observe the jang-making process up close and even make meju, the foundation of all jang. Isn’t it fascinating to think that the meju you make will be used as the base ingredient for Sunchang’s traditional sauces? Afterward, you can visit the homes of local masters to make and taste gochujang. If you participate in the jangdokdae program, the master will personally manage and age the gochujang you made for six months before sending it to your home!

Gyeongbokgung Saenggwabang is a program that lets you experience the royal confections and medicinal teas once enjoyed by the kings and queens, based on the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty. It is held in the Sojubang in Gyeongbokgung Palace, and the Saenggwabang located in the Sojubang pavilion is where the desserts and special meals for the king and queen were prepared.Upon arrival, a staff member dressed in hanbok will guide you, and a beautifully set tea table will make you feel as though you've stepped back into the Joseon Dynasty. About seven types of delicate and healthy traditional teas will be prepared according to your reservation. This popular program offers a rare opportunity to taste the teas once enjoyed by the royal family in the Sojubang of Gyeongbokgung Palace. After applying for participation, you’ll be entered into a lottery for a chance to make a reservation, and even if you don’t win, you can still try for a cancellation ticket. Plus, if you visit wearing a hanbok, you’ll receive a special gift!

The Royal Culture Festival is the largest cultural heritage festival in Korea, held every spring and fall against the backdrop of the five grand palaces of Seoul and Jongmyo Shrine. During the festival, attendees can explore the five grand palaces, including Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace, Deoksugung Palace, and Gyeonghuigung Palace, as well as participate in various palace experience programs. This spring, the festival will feature several programs centered around A Time Travel, King Sejong, which immerses visitors in the daily life of the palaces, and Gogungmanjeong(古宮萬情) craft exhibition showcasing the works of holders of national intangible cultural heritage. Additionally, there will be events for international visitors, including night tours of Changdeokgung Palace, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Deoksugung Seokjojeon, as well as palace concerts. A palace pass, which allows unlimited access to the five grand palaces for nine days, will also be available for purchase during this period.
